The Portal is a Sydney, Australia based small business, born from a passion of wanting to share the confidence and benefits that skincare provides. We are believers in enhancing the true you and reveal a more radiant self.

Why Korean skincare? Growing up in Australia and only ever being exposed to western-style products, I never had the chance to learn about taking care of my skin from a younger age because of how expensive everything was. I resorted to covering myself up with makeup rather than caring for my skin. Fast forward a few years later and wanting a more natural look (and to undo a lot of the damage I'd done), I decided I needed to invest in skincare.

After a bit of research and a quick trip to Seoul, I became completely immersed and amazed by the quality AND affordability of Korean skincare. Thanks to its emphasis on natural ingredients, innovative formulations, and result-oriented products, it's no wonder that it's gained significant popularity over the years. Coming back home and noticing that I wasn't able to get the products I loved, or had to wait weeks for shipping, sneaky customs fees or annoying foreign conversion rates, I decided to do it myself and help all the other Aussies out there who feel the same way.
